It’s now possible to view planned power outages on our Outages map and list, where you’ll be able to see all planned and known unplanned outages affecting our electricity network.

In most cases, your electricity retailer will still be the one to tell you about upcoming planned outages, but you can use our website to check for the latest updates. For example – if a planned outage can’t go ahead due to bad weather or another reason, we’ll mark it as cancelled as soon as we can.

If a planned outage has a backup date – known as the alternative date – we’ll also show in advance if this is going to be used.
